Dieter Borrell grew up in the culturally diverse city of Miami, giving him the foundation and technical know-how on how to engage in a multifaceted career in architecture. A graduate of the University of Florida, Dieter holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Architecture. He enjoys the complexity and legality of building codes, and is passionately inquisitive when it comes to code analyzing and site investigations.
He is most interested in culture and how society engages with complex architectural spaces, sociably responsible architecture and how architects can design cityscapes. How, why and where people interact with spatial environments inspires Dieter to design spaces that tell a story. Working with renowned architect Bernado Fort-Brescia at Arquitectonica was a major influence for him.
When not at the office, you can find Dieter enjoying his time with his two children or running around outside taking care of his yard. He is known for laughing and being silly, his love of going out to lunch and joking with people around the office.
