Alan’s extensive and diverse architectural experience both nationally and internationally (especially related to healthcare planning) gives him a unique perspective on the design process. Alan’s approach to the process includes the observation, collection, documentation of relevant project parameters, organizational goals, visions and needs and then transforming that information through a collaborative effort into a successful built environment for all stake holders.
Using his background in Code Analysis, Quality Control, Project Management and having obtained a Master of Business Administration, Alan is known to get down to the granular level to assure excellent project results no matter what detail or effort it takes. He is passionate about sharing his experiences, encouraging and mentoring those around him.
“I believe in doing the right thing first which sometimes makes it more challenging in the beginning but much more effective in the long run”.
Personally, Alan is a bit of a craftsman himself having designed, restored, and renovated numerous residential properties. “I love working with wood, metal and stone to bring out the natural beauty of these materials in my projects”.
